My love for videography
I am Jerbes De Bruin founder of Zesty Films and Photo.
My father was a well known actor in South Africa and with his influence I have been privy to accompany him to many different movie sets from a young age.
It was always fascinating on how they put all the scenes together to make a unique and wonderful movie. The equipment used at the right angle and the perfect lighting to portray a certain aspect in creating an effect or emotion to a scene of the movie.
Having the pleasure of working on numerous popular South African television shows and film sets myself has made this journey even more unique. To name a few I have acted in were shows like ‘Song for Katryn 2’, ‘Mad Buddy’s’ and Egoli.

Popular Band ‘DJ Ossewa’.
The art of learning music video’s came with being in a band named ‘DJ Ossewa’. They were a very popular band back in the day. It was an absolute dream come true to be part of this group.
Having studied photography at ‘Global Photographics’ has been very helpful in my career as it’s an essential part in filming. I have however become a professional with many years of experience in the industry.
Bring in the world of production is an absolute pleasure and I feel privileged to living out my dream and passion by being in the production industry. It is with this great dream that I have been able to be the founder, creator and editor of this wonderful business.
